MORE FROM THIS RELEASE
We visit what may be the world’s largest naturist / nudist destination, located on the western coast of France. This is the first part of several (plus a bonus or two) we’ll be bringing you from Euronat.
Up first, we rent a car in Bordeaux and head to the coast where we stay at Euronat for three amazing days. Join us as we take a tour of our AirBnB, prepare lunch, and head to the beach all clothes-free!
We discuss how freeing Euronat is and how France is a fantastic place to experience naturism as there are so many options. We’ve found that much of the stigma and sexualization surrounding simple nudity (like found in the U.S.) has no place in France.
Our visit to Euronat was truly amazing and gave us a sense of freedom like we’ve never experienced before. We’re thrilled to bring you along.
Hey guys, Euronet looks like a great place! Can you tell us about the camera that you spin over your head to get a 360 shot?
Euronat was great. We’ll for sure be going back. Hopefully for longer next time.
The camera is the Insta360 X3. It’s great for specific scenes, but not so much for overall video. You lose a lot of quality once you punch in as the 5.3K is spread over the entire 360-degree view. We’ll master the use of it someday. Or not, lol…
Hey guys! Loving your European travels. You made reference to AANR and the lack of inclusivity at many naturist parks here in the U.S. I’ve considered joining but have been reluctant for that very reason. Have you encountered those entry barriers often here in the states?
Hi Marcus,
For the past few years, we’ve begrudgingly renewed our AANR membership only because some of the locations we wanted to visit either require membership and/or offer discounted rates for entry. We now view our membership to AANR simply as a discount card…
It’s been our experience that AANR does very little to encourage & promote real diversity amongst its member clubs. They rarely if ever have acknowledged their LGBTQ+ members, even during Pride Month. They’ve been called out publicly on this and seemingly remain silent as if LGBTQ+ members don’t exist.
If you visit their website or Twitter (X) page, you’ll notice a nearly exclusive theme amongst their posts & depictions of their members, white & heterosexual.
AANR continues to allow their accredited member clubs to discriminate based on gender and in some cases sexual orientation.
To answer your question, yes we have experienced this first-hand at some of their clubs in the States.
Thanks guys. As I said I’ve been very reluctant to join. I greatly appreciate your feedback. Safe travels 🤗🤗
The breaks between shots with the drone circling around you at the beach in sepia tone remind me of the old breaks on Batman TV shows and cartoons with his symbol spinning around. LOL
Sounds like you’re having a similar experience in France that I had in Germany. The cultural orientation around public and social nudity is so refreshingly open and lax compared to the US, where people feel so threatened by sight of the naked human body (especially men’s bodies). There’s just total comfort and acceptance that we have bodies and they shouldn’t be hidden. I think if the US had more public spaces and venues as outlets for public and social nudity (and sexuality) then we, as a people, would be better adjusted to ourselves and the world.
Also loved the shot of you guys cuddling naked in bed at the end. I would love to see more affection between you two, as a couple.
Well said Enzo. We’ll be visiting Germany at some point and are looking forward to experiencing the naturist/FKK culture there. Thanks for the comments!
